Thanks to the hard work of breeders from the French company Clause, the Dino f1 tomato was bred, which can be grown not only in Moldova and Ukraine, but also in Belarus, in the southern and central regions of Russia. The hybrid feels good in fields and gardens, and bears fruit well in greenhouses.

Features of the variety

Determinant tomato bushes have a powerful root system, but grow only a meter in height. Large fruits are hidden under thick leaves from the hot rays of the sun. The first tomato is usually picked 70 days after the seedlings are moved to the garden. On one bush, according to farmers, there are from 14 to 22 brushes, on each of which 4–5 tomatoes weighing 120–150 g are tied, and possessing:

  • saturated red tint;
  • smooth and dense skin;
  • glossy shine;
  • plum-like shape;
  • up to 8 cm long.

At a temperature of 20 degrees, tomatoes do not lose their presentation, retain an excellent sweetish taste and light aroma for up to 15 days. The fruits are added to various salads, canned, closed for the winter in jars.

Advantages of the variety

If you look at the reviews of summer residents about the Dino tomato, we can conclude that they consider the advantages of a hybrid to be:

  • rapid maturation;
  • high productivity;
  • great taste.

The farmers, who planted this novelty for the first time, assure that the hybrid successfully endured the cool and humid weather of early summer and delighted with sweet and large tomatoes. The advantages of the variety include the absence of the need for tying bushes.

The tomato copes with diseases in the form of:

  • fusarium;
  • verticillary wilting;
  • bacterial spotting.

Large fruits are formed both above and below the bush, they are tied together, almost all tomatoes ripen on the plant. Due to their dense skin, they do not lose their attractive appearance during long-term transportation.

How should you plant?

Early ripening hybrids in the middle lane are sown for seedlings from 15 to 20 March. The soil is prepared by mixing humus with river sand, peat and turf soil in a ratio of 2 to 1. The soil is disinfected in 3 ways in the form:

  • freezing;
  • steaming;
  • calcination.

Dino tomato seeds do not need to be germinated and treated with chemicals. In a peat pot, 2 grains are placed at a depth of 1.5 cm, sprinkled with earth on top of them and sprinkled with water. When the first leaves appear, they begin to dive, due to which the roots are strengthened.

In open ground, seedlings are sent along with the pot, cutting off its bottom. They do this when frosts are no longer expected, and the height of the tomato shoot is at least 20 cm.

Care rules

The place of the tomato bed is selected on an area that is well ventilated and illuminated by the sun all day. Tomato bushes are planted at a distance of 40 cm. The land on which they are located must be loosened after 2 or 3 weeks, and the weeds must be weeded, otherwise insect pests will start, and the bushes will thicken.

It is necessary to water the hybrids at the root, make sure that no water gets on the leaves and inflorescences. Humidification of tomatoes is done once or within 7 days. In order for the nutrients to go into the formation of fruits, stepchildren are regularly removed.

During the season, tomatoes are fed 4 times with mineral and organic fertilizers, the bushes must be spud. Tomatoes are harvested by hand.
